Dragon sauce is a creamy, spicy mayo, usually made with sriracha, soy sauce, lime and garlic. It goes on bowls, fries, sushi and just about anything that needs a cool kick. Ours skips the sriracha and uses an actual dragon: Caribbean Style Habanero, which already brings fruity heat, lime and a touch of agave, so there's no sweetener to add.
Some recipes use the name for a vegan bowl sauce made with tamari and nutritional yeast. This is the creamy one.
What to put it on
Drizzle it over rice bowls and poke, dip fries and wings in it, spread it on burgers and fish sandwiches, or roll it into sushi. It's also the same idea behind our Spicy Lobster Roll.
Directions
- Add the mayonnaise, Dragon Habanero, soy sauce, lime juice and garlic to a small bowl.
- Whisk until smooth.
- Taste, then add more Dragon if you want more heat. Too thick? Thin it with a squeeze of lime.
- Use right away, or cover and refrigerate for up to a week. The bottle can live in the pantry; the mayo can't. 🔥🐉
